Recollections of one of "the battling bastards of Corregidor and Bataan" who was forced to surrender in May 1942 and survived to be freed by MacArthur's troops in 1945. Awarded the Bronze star for bravery, he became a Justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court and is now retired.
