SHEET MUSIC. Composer: E. T. Paull. Poem lyric by H. A. Freeman. 10pp. Respectfully Inscribed to Gen. Lew Wallace, Author of Ben Hur. "Played by Sousa's Band." Five color lithographic art cover illustration of the race between Messala & Ben Hur at the Antioch Coliseum. Spine partially intact but weak w/old tape mends top & bottom inside & out, top edge bumped w/numerous tiny splits, margins lightly agetoned to creamy white with light handling soiling & bends, store stamp near bottom corner: "From Oscar S. Capps, The Music Man, Kingman, Kans." Rather scarce song variant.
