Lewis on frontispiece under tissue, 233pp. plus seven photo plates & engravings of notable English churches. Introduction by Rev. J. Morgan Gibbon, Stamford Hill, London, in whose pulpit Rev. Lewis presented many of his sermons during Rev. Gibbon's extended illness. Spine ends & corners bumped, spine fall-in, edges moderately faded, spine firm but broken through front endpapers, a bit of pencil marginalia scattered throughout text, protected in a new archival glassine dust jacket.
