New York Henry Holt and Company 1957 First Edition Hard Cover Good Good Signed
The Story of Bob Reeve and the Flyers Who Pushed Back Alaska's Frontiers. Gray & white boards with striated pattern, gray cloth backstrip with black and white lettering, maps on endpapers, 348pp plus two 16pp photo sections. SIGNED & INSCRIBED by Mr. Reeve: "Good Greetings from Alaska to Dick Sullivan -- with my great esteem and very good wishes to you & yours in Beechcraft -- and hurry back to Alaska, Dick! Bob Reeve" SIGNED by Dick Sullivan on dust jacket front flap. (Mr. Sullivan worked in engineering and refurbishing at Beechcraft, Wichita, Kansas.) Book is tightly bound, spine is cocked and has a bit of fading at top, front board is bowed, edges faded, text is bright & clean. Dust jacket is wholly intact but has significant flaws: notable chips on spine panel ends and flap fold ends but all lettering remains unobscured, two large closed tears on back panel; obviously a much read book but still reasonably presentable.
