Rebound in heavy brown patterned library cloth, white lettering on brown spine, xii, 12pp inserted photo plate section, 238pp, bibliography, index. Includes an Index of 800 Notoriious Western Gunfighters. Cover edges & corners show wear but the book is not unattractive and binding is quite firm, library code in white near spine bottom, other usual library markings on front endpapers and a child's scribbles on front & back free endpapers, else text is uniformly clean, bright, white. A very helpful book for the weapons collector and historian. Photo section includes scarce and unusual firearm models, plus the book has a great historical summary on weapons in general and early Texas history.
