Light tan buckram cloth, red lettering with small cover illustration under title, publisher's red top edge dye, xii, frontispiece illustration, 319pp, plus five origianal illustrated plates. Spine shelf-cocked, bottom corners lightly bumped, covers have a bit of scattered light spotting, edges lightly faded, names inked & stamped on front pastedown & free endpaper, text & ills. crisp & clean. Dust jacket spine very lightly sunned, ends lightly bumped with a bit of very light chipping, a few small closed tears on front panel edges, one closed tear with creases on back panel mended backside with clear archival tape, protected in a new Gaylord archival clear plastic cover (removable).
