"New America," from the view of a prominent British writer of the period. First American EditionSpine ends bumped & rubbed with top a bit tattered, corners lightly bumped & rubbed, edges faded, text pages white, generally quite clean but there are a few scattered light pencil markings, esp. near center & pp.279-292 which have corrected dogeared top corners.
