A novel of America on the eve of the Revolutionary War. Red cloth, white lettering on spine, 265pp. SIGNED & INSCRIBED on front free endpaper. Spine cocked, ends bumped, text crisp & clean. Dust jacket in clear mylar cover, spine panel lacking, chipping on front panel edges, back flap detached. Author was inspired to write the novel after a genealogical search for a possible connection between her maternal lineage and two men of renown during the Colonial period.
