Revised from his book Operating a Model Railroad. Light blue cloth, bold gilded lettering, vi, 153pp., profusely illustrated with photos, numerous track layout drawings, Second Printing. Spine sharply cocked, ends lightly bumped, front board bowed vertically, edges & endpapers moderately faded (wartime paper), text crisp & clean. Dust jacket, printed on wartime paper, is noticeably faded, spine ends significantly chipped, triangular open tear on front panel at bottom corner (thumb-sized at largest area then diminishing), open tears across top edge of back panel w/largest about 1" deep, both panels retaining most of the double spread artwork, protected in a new Gaylord archival clear plastic cover.
