Full color lithographed cover with gilt border, blue lettering with gilded outline, on back a lithograph of small floral decoration on framed white panel largely surrounded by gilding, decorated endpapers in Egyptian motif, 54pp with original b&w sketches on every page, including 12 original color lithographs with gilded bordering. Covers very lightly agetoned with two tiny spots of foxing on front near top corner, a few on back, a tiny bump to back fore edge, text edges very lightly agetoned, crisp, clean. The lightly agetoned dust jacket has a few small areas of very light rubbing on edges, slightest chipping on spine ends, a tiny closed tear on front top & bottom edges with a small chip to bottom edge, back panel has a small chip to top edge with a 1" closed tear, overall, very attractive; protected in a new Gaylord archival clear plastic cover (removable).
